About Dataflo
Dataflo is a New Mexico-based GovTech company, and our software helps the people who run government work faster, more transparently, and with better information. Our vision is to build the AI that powers human governance across all 50 states.
This role supports our two core products:
- Billflo, AI legislative intelligence. Agencies and government affairs teams track bills, ask plain-language questions across years of sessions, and see what legislation means for their budgets and programs.
- Govflo, AI public records (IPRA) and Open Meetings compliance. Records teams find, review, and redact responsive documents in a fraction of the time, with every action reviewed and approved by a person.
We sell through established procurement vehicles, including Carahsoft and NASPO, offering buyers a clear path to purchase.
The role
You will be the founding member of Dataflo’s Solutions Team, owning everything that makes a customer successful after the first conversation: demos, pilots, implementation, adoption, and the voice of the customer back to our product team.
You work side by side with our Account Manager. They own new business, renewals, and expansion. You make sure every pilot proves its value, every launch goes smoothly, and every customer gets real results, so renewals and growth follow.
This is a hybrid technical and customer-facing role. You configure and troubleshoot the product and you hand deeper product insights to build roadmap.
What you’ll do
- Demos. Partner with the Account Manager on product demonstrations, especially when buyers want to see configuration, integrations, security, or their own records and legislative data in the product.
- Pilots. Scope pilots with clear success criteria, run them week by week, track results, and present the outcome that supports the decision to buy.
- Implementation. Lead onboarding and launch: configure the platform, set up users and permissions, connect integrations such as Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, and coordinate data migration with our engineering team.
- Training. Train records custodians, legislative liaisons, and government affairs staff, in person and virtually, so every user is confident on day one.
- Customer success. Own the post-launch relationship for adoption and value. Run regular check-ins, monitor usage, solve issues fast, and flag renewal risks and expansion opportunities to the Account Manager early.
- Troubleshooting. Be the first line for customer questions and problems. Resolve what you can and escalate the rest with clear steps to reproduce.
- Product feedback. Bring what you hear in the field back to the product team as clear, prioritized requests, and help test new features before release.
- Playbooks. Build the repeatable pilot, onboarding, and training playbooks Dataflo will use as we expand to every state.
- Records. Keep accounts, activity, and pilot status current in CRM.
Territory, location, and travel
You support customers in New Mexico first, expanding to neighboring states, such as Arizona, Colorado, and Texas, within your first year.
- Location. You must live in New Mexico. Candidates outside the state are welcome to apply if they will relocate.
- Travel. In-state travel as required for onsite pilots, implementations, and training, including Santa Fe during legislative sessions. Out-of-state travel grows as our customer base expands into neighboring states.
- Requirement. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
What you bring
Required
- 3 or more years in customer success, implementation, or solutions consulting for B2B software, with government customers (state, county, or municipal).
- Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting SaaS platforms, including user setup, permissions, and integrations, without needing to write code.
- Experience running pilots or onboarding projects from kickoff to launch, on time, with multiple stakeholders.
- Confidence leading product demos and training sessions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfort working with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environments.
- Clear, warm, professional communication in writing, on the phone, and in person.
- Comfort working at an early-stage company: building process as you go, without a large support team.
Nice to have
- Experience with public records (IPRA, FOIA), Open Meetings, legislative tracking, or compliance software.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, eDiscovery, or records management tools.
- Existing relationships in New Mexico or Southwest state and local government.
- Experience writing product requirements or working closely with an engineering team, including offshore teams.
Compensation
- Base salary. $75K to $130K, based on experience.
- Annual bonus. Up to 10% of base, tied to pilot-to-contract conversion and customer retention.
- Relocation. Support available for candidates moving to New Mexico.
- Expenses. Business travel reimbursed.

|---|---|
| 3 to 5 years | $75K to $90K |
| 5 to 8 years | $90K to $110K |
| 8+ years, enterprise SLED | $110K to $130K |
How to apply
Send your resume and a short note to ajay.jayagopal@dataflo.ai. In the note, tell us about one government customer you took from pilot or kickoff to a successful launch: what they needed, what got in the way, and how you got them to real results.
Dataflo is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants of every background.
