STATE & COUNTY CIO, CTO & IT LEADERSHIP

The legislation and the records requests, both automated.

"New mandates and records requests both land on my team. How do we get ahead of them?"
The difference

The same work, two ways.

TodayWith Dataflo

Records requestsEmail and file searches run by hand, one request at a time.Assembled on arrival, with redactions proposed and cited.

TWO WORKLOADS LAND ON IT

A CIO or CTO office does not only run the stack. It absorbs the work that comes with it. Procurement rules, cybersecurity mandates, data and privacy statutes and records law all change by legislation, and the office is expected to be compliant on the effective date.

Public records requests land on the same office. Whoever owns email, file storage and the case systems ends up running the searches, and that work falls to technical staff who were hired to build things.

Both workloads are continuous, and neither is what the office is measured on.

THE LEGISLATION SIDE

Billflo tracks legislation at the federal, state, county and municipal level and classifies it against your jurisdiction and your systems. When a bill touching procurement, cybersecurity, privacy or records law is heard, amended, scheduled or voted on, your office is alerted the same day.

Impact analysis is cited to the bill text, so a new obligation arrives with the language that creates it rather than as a summary someone forwarded. Mandates get lead time instead of arriving as deadlines.

THE RECORDS SIDE

Govflo handles public records work on the statutory clock each jurisdiction sets: federal FOIA, state law such as New Mexico's IPRA, and local ordinances, each tracked separately.

Responsive material is assembled across email, file storage, scans and messaging in a single query, and redactions are proposed with the exemption they claim. The custodian reviews and signs. Nothing is released by the system.

The searches stop being a technical project run per request, and your staff move from retrieval to review.

WHAT IT ADDS TO YOUR STACK

Dataflo runs in your environment against the systems you already administer and replaces none of them. Access control follows the structures you already enforce, every query and approval is logged and exportable, and agency data is not used to train models.

The Trust Center carries the deployment model, data handling and our compliance position in full.
